    BWWST accepting Submissions

Posted by: Graham Paulsen : Mobile

Give us your BEST before & after picture. BWWST is now accepting submissions. We are open to recieve new additions to the gallery.
This project started as a personal project of portrait photographer Jason Matos (jasonmatosphoto.com). The entire set of photos actually took a few months to complete. Now BWWST is online and thanks to web development by Graham Paulsen at 5D Media & Design (5dmedia.ca) BWWST now has uploading capabilities. In the Contact Form Page anyone can submit their story and photos or artwork to be added to the BWWST gallery. We're hoping that both individuals and groups will be interested in sharing their stories. So if you've got a story about your journey through struggle and you can express it in a set of artful and interesting images: then inspire us: fill out the form and send us your photos.

The main idea is to get images that represent your journey. Give us the Before and After. For example, explain where you've come from, experiences that shaped you, how you made it through and where you are today. What kinds of things would you want someone else to know? ...someone who might be experiencing a similar difficulty.

    BWWST Official Release Party

Posted by: Jason Matos : Events

    To everyone that attended,
Thank-you so much for your support and an amazing evening.
In total, 185 people came through The Frwy doors and made this event more of a community night than I thought possible. Thanks to all of those who played music, you all did an incredible job and everyone was so into your music. Fantastic! We had some very generous donations towards The Frwy as well, since it is all run by volunteers (even the baking is done by volunteers) so thank-you for donating and supporting them even in these tough economical times.

I received some excellent feedback about my images, saw a few people cry and a few become overwhelmed by the stories that were being told! Remember - just because you are going through a tough time doesn't mean your life is over or there is no hope ... it will make you stronger, use your weaknesses to your advantage! Expect a video up within the month and a site up within the month as well with all the images and stories up!
    Thankyou everyone!
    Jason.
